Our STAR sliding head lathe offers us the ability to make high precision turned components up to 20mm in diameter. It has cross working tools and back working tools allowing us to make components in one operation rather than perhaps two or more. This can improve accuracy and consistency, reduce lead times and save money.
All lot quantities considered.
Recent examples have included bespoke bushes for circuit board mounts, sockets and connectors and thin walled domes. Small parts have been turned from materials such as brass, delrin, copper and stainless steel.
Full traceability of material, additional processes such as plating and part marking can be carried out or arranged.
